Freewater was developed by our partners at D3T. My role with this map was mainly supportive.
Initially, I helped them understand a portion of the modular kit that had been built for Sand Wreck. The kit was successful in a number of ways, but did need additions to hit the art direction for Freewater. Which I helped them understand early in the process with the hope of improving the production process. I also impart knowledge on how to critique their own work in the context of a FPS game, which they were new too. This was a very fun interaction for me. Near the end of the project I was tasked with bug, occlusion, and performance work to help finalize the map.
