Zombie Bat

This old project was set up as a small challenge of how to make an upgradable/modifiable weapon for a character while keeping the texture and asset count low. Essentially with one 1k texture set I got 5 weapons, the plane baseball bat not being shown here. Each part worked seamlessly with the others. It was a fun little exercise.

I used a whole host of different applications at the time to build it. This was still during the days of Diffuse, Spec/gloss flows. It was also when things like nDo and DDO were all of the rage. I loved using them right in photoshop. It was sad to see them go but they really paved the way for things like painter.
